Terms of Service

By using LOKL (the website, PWA, or any mobile application), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. The service

LOKL is a hyperlocal delivery marketplace. We connect customers with local shops (partners) in Paratwada, Achalpur, and nearby areas. LOKL facilitates the transaction but the sale contract is between the customer and the partner shop.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to use LOKL. By using the platform you confirm you meet this requirement.

3. Orders and payment

• Orders are confirmed only when the partner shop accepts them.
• Prices shown are the shop's prices including LOKL's platform markup or commission, displayed transparently.
• Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you confirm.
• Payment is due at delivery for Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, or at checkout for UPI/card orders via PhonePe.
• LOKL reserves the right to cancel any order that cannot be fulfilled.

4. Delivery

Estimated delivery times (typically 30 minutes within our service area) are indicative, not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to traffic, weather, high demand, or partner shop preparation time. LOKL is not liable for delays beyond our reasonable control.

5. Partner accounts (shopkeepers and riders)

• Partner registration is subject to LOKL's approval and a valid subscription plan.
• Partners are responsible for the accuracy of their product listings, prices, and stock.
• LOKL may suspend or terminate partner accounts for violations of these terms or our partner agreement.
• Riders must maintain an active account in our riders table and comply with all applicable traffic laws.

6. Prohibited conduct

• Placing fraudulent, false, or test orders intended to disrupt the platform.
• Attempting to access another user's account or data.
• Using LOKL to facilitate transactions outside the platform.
• Harassment of riders, shopkeepers, or LOKL staff.

7. Intellectual property

The LOKL brand, logo, and platform code are owned by LOKL Technologies. Product images displayed on the platform belong to the respective brands or shops. Do not reproduce them without permission.

8. Limitation of liability

LOKL's liability for any claim arising from a transaction is limited to the order value. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Product quality disputes are between the customer and the partner shop; LOKL facilitates resolution in good faith.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Maharashtra, India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Amravati district.
